What is spring clean?

Spring cleaning is the practice of thoroughly cleaning one’s home or living space, usually in the springtime when the weather is getting warmer and people want to freshen up their living environment. It involves deep cleaning and decluttering the entire house, including areas that may be overlooked during regular cleaning routines.

Typical spring cleaning tasks may include washing windows, vacuuming and dusting curtains, cleaning carpets, organizing closets, scrubbing floors, cleaning out cabinets and drawers, and disposing of old or unused items.

The goal is to create a clean and fresh living space and to remove any clutter or dirt that may have accumulated over the winter months. Spring cleaning can also be an excellent opportunity to donate or sell unwanted items, and to start the new season with a sense of renewal and order.

So you are wondering how to plan the spring clean more effectively.
