Recommended App to create original sticker or clip art
Procreate is a powerful app for creating digital art, and it’s great for making digital stickers and clip art.
Here’s a general overview of the process:
Open a new canvas: In Procreate, create a new canvas by tapping the “+” button in the top right corner of the screen. Choose the canvas size and resolution you want to work with.
Create your design: Use Procreate’s tools and brushes to create your sticker or clip art design. You can draw freehand or use shapes and text to create your design.
Add color: Once you’ve created your design, add color by selecting the color picker tool and choosing your desired color. Use the brush tool to fill in areas with color.
Create a transparent background: To make your sticker or clip art have a transparent background, create a new layer and place it beneath your design layer. Fill this layer with a solid color, such as white, then select the eraser tool and erase the solid color layer around your design. This will leave your design with a transparent background.

What are the sticker sizes?
In my community, many people ask about the size of the sticker or the size of the image canvas for Procreate.
Especially, my most of art and designs are created with rasterized images. So It is important to set the right canvas size and resolution. Digital stickers are small files, it doesn’t mean you are creating images in a smaller size.
Remember, your original image must bigger canvas size and 300 DPI.
My canvas setup for digital stickers and clipart.
In my case, I create my design or art image in Procreate, and the canvas size is 10-12″ x 10-12″, depending on the marketplace. Also, 300DIP and Color modes are RGB.
Once you create the original image, you can create digital stickers using my Photoshop sticker template. It depends on the right ratio of the size stickers, such as square, circle, banner, Instagram stickers, etc.
The canvas size for individual clip art can vary depending on the intended use of the clip art. Generally, it’s a good idea to create clip art on a canvas size that’s large enough to allow for detail, but not so large that it becomes difficult to work with or takes up too much storage space.
Some of the marketplaces like Soceity6, spoonflower, and Redbuble, require recommended image sizes. But if you sell digital stickers on Etsy shop for digital stickers, it can be smaller sizes are okay as long as the resolution is 300DPI high quality.
Because my clip art or digital stickers are used in my wall art as well. so I create original designs and drawings with bigger sizes than only digital stickers for planners.

A common canvas size for individual clip art is 2000 pixels by 2000 pixels. This is a good size for most digital planner sticker purposes and allows for plenty of detail.
