8 ways to SEO for your blog posts

To grow your blog, you need to know SEO.

1. What is SEO?

SEO is the initials of Search Engine Optimization in English.

Search engine optimization means optimizing a site for searchers (search users), and SEO is a generic term for the process of creating and operating a site requested by search users.

SEO is a slow process, but it helps your blog rank on Google and makes your blog easier for others to read.

Imagine, you are looking for products such as a computer. You will look at the computer of the user-end friendly when you purchase it. Let’s think of your article as a product.

Articles that are easily accessible to search users are good products and popular products. So think of SEO as the system of your blog and post your articles. It’s like launching a product.

2. the 8 Ways to Search Engines Optimization for Your Posts

So what should we do?

Tip 1. Use long-tail keywords.

Long-tail keywords refer to a keyword that has less search volume compared to a short-tail keyword, but expresses the intention of a post more specifically.

They have a variety of patterns, so you can combine them with different keywords on the same subject.

It usually consists of three or more words and consists of specific word combinations.

Because the keyword itself contains the search intent, it is relatively easy to write an article, and the competition is less fierce compared to other keywords.

As those of you who have used the WordPress Jetpack plug-in will know, this plug-in provides a guide to optimizing your title for search engines.

Has the world become much more comfortable?

This is an option that I found out recently and use all the time.

So how are you doing curiously?

  1. Decide which long-tail keywords to rank in each post.

  2. Optimize your posts to include long-tail keywords. 3-5 words is fine. Also, make sure your title doesn’t exceed 60 characters. If it is too long, it will not appear in search engines.

  3. An example of a long-tail keyword:

Instead of inserting the keyword ‘saving tips’, it is further subdivided and called ‘saving tips when shopping’ is an example.

Tip 2. The title selection is important.

This is very important. Include long-tail keywords in your post titles. You can read the article “How to create a profitable blog” and also emphasised about the importance of title.

This is the first thing people see in Google search results and it should match what they search for.

Tip 3. subheadings included keywords.

Put keywords in the subheading title.

Put 2-4 sub-headings in the reveal ( H2, H3, H4…) and use long-tail keywords in these headings.

The title makes it easy to read, making it easy for readers to read.

Tip 4. meta description for search engine optimization

A meta description is a few sentences of text that appears below the main title link in Google Search.

  1. Try this with less than 200 characters.

  2. Reuse keywords in meta descriptions. But don’t overdo it. It always sounds natural, but make sure it looks attractive enough for that person to click on your site.

For reference, there is no space to write meta descriptions in the free platform. (Blogspot is an exception).

Don’t worry too much though.

Put a meta description in the first paragraph of your post and Google will figure it out.

That’s why the first sentence is always important. You should let the reader know what you are writing about. Google Docs is a good example of that.

Tip 5. Related posts

If you have other posts related to the articles, please link the posts by writing a list at the bottom of the post.

This will guide your readers on where to go next and help them stay on your site longer.

Tip 6. Internal link on your blog post

Create links between posts.

This will show Google that you have more control over the topic and will help you rank higher.

It also keeps viewers on your blog longer and generates sticky traffic.

Tip 7. Images related to keywords

Make sure the image has ALT text.

This will make it searchable on Google and show up in Google Image Search.

Search engines can’t see images, only ALT text.

You must select an image related to the keyword to put a keyword-related description in ALT. However, do not put keywords in photos that are not related to the keyword at all.

Tip 8. Backlink

Backlinks are links to other sites that link back to your blog.

Posting a quality article as a guest on a larger blogger site will give you some backlinks to your blog.

Also, the nicer and more active you are in the blogging community, the more likely other bloggers will be linking bog.

Your SEO improves because Google views your blog as an authority in your niche when others link back to you.

This is very important for SEO ranking

The final Thought of Search Engine Optimization.

There are many other ways to perform Search Engine Optimization and increase your Google ranking.

You can read the article “7 quick SEO hacks for the SEO newbie ” to know more.

However, today I wrote down only the essential parts related to writing the post.

At first glance, there doesn’t seem to be much of a difference.

But as your blog grows, all of this is organized and properly tagged will make it easier for Google and others to find your blog.

And the more people find your great content, the more chances you have to backlink to you on a larger blog or website.
